asukaasuka

An extraordinary fusion of Cabernet Franc and Merlot

The name of the town where Kenzo was born, Asuka signifies a bright future and hope for tomorrow. The first Cabernet Franc from the estate, this has been selected specifically for the vintage. Kenzo Estate’s Cabernet Franc, Asuka, is framed by a glorious red hue, a palate of plush tannins and bright raspberry fruit. The distinctly floral perfume hints at fresh plum and white pepper.

Tame tannins make this a wine worth drinking young, but experience tells us to wait and see where the odyssey that is the 2012 Asuka will take us.
